For a “few hits wonder” type of pop hard rock 🙂 band, Skid Row actually have few pretty cool songs. Here is probably the best one. If you don’t know what type of music they normally play, you can actually think they are a proper metal band 🙂

Until I am waiting for the new albums of Tristania, Paradise Lost and Megadeth, I am into a state of nostalgia. So going back in time. And remembering the first “The Gathering” album. Absolute masterpiece. They went to become a unique band throughout the years, but I never liked their music after this album. I never accepted the style change and also I never liked the way Anneke fit into their style. So here it is – “The Mirror Waters”. Absolute classic and outstanding piece of death/doom:

METAL CHURCH вече не същесвува ми казва The Metal News. Тъпо, си мисля аз. Това е една любима група от тийн годините ми и отпреди грънджа да се появи и изтрепа хубавите thrash групи от края на 80-те.
Не са известни колкото Джако, който биде погребан днес, пък и отдавна албумите им са бледа сянка на това което бяха, ама все пак кофти новина. Ето любимото ми парче от най-добрият им албум, издаден през 1989 “Blessing In Disguise”. Няма си клипче, затова само 9 минути хубава музика на фона на обложката на албума. То и да имаше клип – thrash-а не е известен с качествени клипове 🙂
